Easy Three Pea Stir Fry

Or, Happy  New Year!  Want to celebrate Chinese New Year and its cuisine with the family but worried your little ones won't be able to handle the spice? Try a Red Rabbit original recipe perfect for kids-our asian influenced  Three Pea Stir Fry. It's bright, it's green, it's  easy to make and  3bean-stir-fryit's the perfect dish  to ring in the Year of the Monkey Sometimes, when you're buying snap peas or snow peas at the store, they look a bit brown but don't worry, they're still good and work perfectly in this stir fry!

Yields: 8 servings


  • 2 tablespoons coconut or canola oil
  • 2 large cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons ginger root, minced
  • 2 cups sugar snap peas
  • 2 cups snow peas
  • 1 ½ cups green peas
  • 4 teaspoons soy sauce
  • 2 teaspoons rice vinegar


  1. Heat 1 tablespoon oil in large wok pan (or fry pan) over moderately high heat until hot. Add garlic and ginger and stir-fry until fragrant, about 1 minutes.

  2. Add sugar snap peas and snow peas. Cook until crisp-tender, about 3 minutes.

  3. Add green peas and stir-fry until hot, about 2 minutes. Turn off heat but leave on stove. Pour soy sauce and vinegar over pea mixture and toss well. Serve with brown rice, and enjoy!
