Cupid’s arrow has struck again and it’s bringing with it a rush of sugar everywhere we look. The candy aisles are overflowing but what do you send along with your child if you don’t want to pass out more candy to their friends and classmates? We’ve got you covered with three Valentine’s Day messages that include nature’s candy - fresh fruit!
Here's what you'll need:
- Fresh Apples, Clementines, or Bananas
- Clear Treat Bags (like these)
- Hole Punch
- Ribbon or Twine
- One of our adorable Valentine's printable (below)
To assemble: Print out our adorable cards with the corresponding fruit-themed Valentine's message and hole punch each card. Place your fruit into the treat bags and tie off the bag with your festive ribbon with the card attached.

What do you do with all that candy your child brought home?
If you don't want your child to eat all the candy they received for Valentine's Day, have them "trade" you their extra candy for something even sweeter. Exchange pieces of candy for a trip to the museum, or an extra 10 minutes before bedtime!
