Meet Cristian, Red Rabbit's Assistant Kitchen Supervisor. Cristian helps oversee our prep cook and bakery teams to ensure our recipes are delicious and kid approved every day. Originally from Ecuador, his time in New York inspired a love for Italian food, especially mozzarella. Read on to hear more.
How long have you been with Red Rabbit?
I’ve been at Red Rabbit for 7 years. I started as a kitchen helper, then worked as a prepper and a cook and moved on to become a supervisor for one of our kitchen teams.
Wow that’s a lot of different jobs! How did you get to where you are now?
I love what I do. Cooking is my passion, and I like motivating people. I feel that I am both helping the company and getting better as a manager and as a person.
Rumor has it you are behind some of our most popular dishes…
I am always coming up with ways to improve our meals. I consider myself an inventor -- I love coming up with new recipes.
Which new menu items did you work on?
Our Pesto Flatbread and Banana Oat Bars.
What do you do when you’re not dreaming up delicious new dishes?
Raising my five-year- old daughter. She attends a Pre-K for All program, like many of the children that eat Red Rabbit meals every day.
